Back into the thick of things...

Well, Jade is back home for the first time in forever. ^^ It... really doesn't feel like two weeks and I'm starting to think that a few more weeks away wouldn't have hurt my feelings.

Then again... I didn't have the best time the other day when Grandma decided to bring up why I still haven't taken my SATs yet. ^^;;; I tend to get snippy and defensive when they're brought up. Partly because I don't feel I'm ready (or ever will be ready?) to take them. ._.; I can't do Geometry, plain and simple. And there's Geometry on those tests, ne?

But yeah, I'm home! And with the random urge to cover the floor in icecubes, no less! ^-^ My Sirius!muse is beating me over the head and demanding fanfiction, and as soon as I get my computer fixed, I may listen to him. >.>;

Lastly but not least, Happy Birthday, Av!!! (Because it's your birthday over there now, ne?) Hope it's a good one. ^^ *hurries to get present kinda-done!!*

Math = teh suck. And yeah, there's some geometry, but it's not JUST geometry, you know? I skipped half the questions and got most the rest wrong when I took it. I got a 450 in the math section, which is really low. And ne, you never know until you try, right? It's scary but once you do it it's done, ne?

Haai, that's true. *wibble* I'd still feel really stupid if I missed all the math stuffs though, y'know? I'm going to have to take it soon despite that, though. *wibbles*

The SAT's are evil...but a necessary evil, unfortunately. And the sooner you get them done, the sooner they're over. And I'm sure with your skills in english and whatnot, it'll make up for the math score. And there's a minimum math score that some schools will require. And I think the maths on there fairly simple-ish, like the kind of math you'd do in ninth/tenth grade with a touch of eleventh grade tossed in. There are practice tests you can take floating around on the SAT website, so go ahead and try a few out! I hear there's an essay on the SAT's these days... And the practice tests by no means will be what you'd get on the real test, but it'll give you an idea of what to expect.

I might start trying to take some practice tests. ^-^; And if there's an essay on there... eh... I don't know what I'll do.
